Janice Croom has been a music educator since 1984. She has written music theory curriculum and taught private music lessons and in classroom settings for ages preschool through adult, reaching hundreds of students. Well versed in traditional and contemporary church music, Janice specializes in preparing students to play in various church settings, including accompaniment skills, along with pop and classical music techniques. She believes that students learn best while having fun and engaging multiple senses so she incorporates a variety of hands-on activities and games into piano lessons and practice times. At the same time, Janice trains her students to stretch out of their comfort zone, challenging them to a high level of excellence.
